EPISODE 31: NEVIN HILL

The conversation starts off with Nevin giving a little bit of background on what he does. He explains that he is part of the leadership team at Metropolitan Real Estate Group as he talks about running the Michigan operation.

Brad and Taylor ask what Nevin wanted to be as a kid, to which he jokes that he wanted to be a wizard. On a more serious note, he explains that he was interested in the medical field for a while, particularly nursing and physical therapy.

After taking some of the classes he changed his mind and decided to get a degree in sales and business marketing. After spending some time in sales, he decided to go into business with his brother. They sold some real estate on the side and eventually decided to switch to full-time as they saw the earning potential of real estate.

Brad and Taylor ask about advice Nevin has received that has stuck with him and he mentions the importance of fully committing to the profession. He says he would tell a new agent to say goodbye to nights and weekends and to plan on being on call as a successful agent.

The three talk about Nevin’s plans for the future and Nevin mentions that he’d like to continue growing his team and expand to other cities and states.
