We talked about how he learned the ropes and what made him interested in real estate. To watch the full episode, check out the YouTube video below. Or, listen to it on Apple Podcasts!

In the meantime, here’s a summary of the conversation…

The conversation starts off with Brad asking Dominic if he’s always wanted to be a real estate agent.

Dominic explains that he was very involved with sports growing up and had dreams of playing football professionally. Unfortunately, an injury caused him to rethink his career which led to his interest in real estate. He mentions that he’s been watching podcasts and YouTube videos about real estate since he was 14.

When he was 19, he took his test and started with Berkshire Hathaway.

Brad and Taylor ask about Dominic’s first transaction as an agent and Dominic explains that his first clients were actually his parents. He recalls them being his toughest clients because he felt the pressure to exceed their expectations since they’re his parents.

The three begin talking about advice Dominic received that has resonated with him. He explains that he was told to ignore the negativity and doubt from peers around his real estate goals. This mindset is what enabled him to meet his goal in the first year of selling real estate.
