EPISODE 26: TINA PETERSON

The conversation starts off with Brad and Taylor asking Tina what she wanted to be as a kid.
She jokes that she wanted to be a princess when she was younger, however, as she got older she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. She fulfilled this goal of hers, staying home with her children until they were old enough to lean on Tina a little bit less.
She mentions that while she was staying home with her children she would work side jobs such as waiting tables, babysitting, or cleaning houses. She says this is what fueled her entrepreneurial spirit and showed her that she had a talent for owning her own business.
Since she loved being an entrepreneur and loved working with people, she decided to pursue a career in real estate.

Tina spends some time talking about how she built her team and her expectations out of each member. Brad and Taylor ask if Tina had a mentor, to which Tina replies that no, she had to figure out the job on her own.
On that note, she mentions that she would recommend new agents work with a mentor as it can be overwhelming to learn all the ropes without one. On the topic of goals, Tina says she’d like to continue growing her team while continuing to learn about her field. She says she’d also like to continue giving back to her community.
