The conversation starts off with Brad and Taylor asking Brandon about his profession. Brandon explains that he owns a brokerage and coaches agents about selling without pressuring their clients.

Brad asks what Brandon wanted to be as a kid and Brandon mentions that he wanted to be a teacher. He says that while he didn’t take the route to becoming a school teacher, he considers himself a teacher in a different way which makes him feel like his passions have come full circle.

He spends some time talking about what encouraged him to skip a formal education and head right into his professional while highlighting experiences he’s had with mentors.

On the topic of mentors, he emphasizes the importance of working with a team and good leadership when working with a team. He explains how he came to own a brokerage and what motivated him to start coaching agents, saying his own personal sales were so high he initially started being asked to coach agents before starting his business.

Brandon says he feels it’s important to serve clients rather than seeing the arrangement as the other way around. In 5 years, he says he’d like to serve agents at a higher level.

He also talks about how he would spend $1,000 for starting a business, mentioning how crucial YouTube has been to his career growth.
