EPISODE 28: MATTHEW TALBOT

The conversation starts off with Matthew talking about some of the projects he has going on.

 

Brad and Taylor ask what he wanted to be as a kid and he explains that he wanted to be a business owner. After going to school for business, he fell in love with the marketing side of things and wanted to pursue a career in this field. His love of marketing is what motivated him to get his license and begin selling real estate.

 

Matthew describes his first transaction and talks about the importance of educating yourself, mentioning that he’s always listening to audiobooks and podcasts when he has some free time.

 

The three get on the topic of Moving Motown, a project of Matthew’s where he showcases Southeast Michigan by highlighting a variety of small businesses. His goal is to bring people together within the community.

 

Matthew spends some time talking about what he’d like to achieve in the next five years while he and Brad talk about the hiring process and what they each look for in potential candidates.
