In the meantime, here’s a summary of the conversation…
The conversation starts off with Justis giving a little bit of background on her life by talking about family, side businesses, and her job as a realtor.
Brad and Taylor ask what Justis wanted to be as a child and she mentions that she had a love of interior design. As she got older, she chose to pursue real estate because it gave her the opportunity to pursue her love of interior design while helping clients find their dream homes.
She talks about her first flip which was her first home at the age of 23. She explains that she bought and flipped two other homes after that as well.
The three discuss Justis’s first transaction as well as how she started on a team and her experience going solo. Justis mentions that the best advice she’s received was to have another stream of income while starting out in real estate. She says her worst advice was to not go out on her own and to stick with a team.
Lastly, Brad and Taylor ask what Justis would do with $1,000 if she had to start all over with her business, and she says she would use that money to get her real estate license and build up an inventory for staging homes.
