The conversation starts off with Rennie talking about what he does as an owner of several City2Shore locations. He tells Brad and Taylor about his experience in manufacturing before discovering real estate. Wanting a little more stability in his life, he decided it was time for a career change.
After selling his house, Rennie got along really well with his agent who asked him to be a property manager. Becoming a property manager forced Rennie to get his license, so when he gained his license, he realized that he wanted to be a realtor instead.
Next, Rennie spends some time explaining how City2Shore started and the various locations the business operates in. He follows up by talking about marketing with City2Shore, highlighting the importance of referrals and relationship building.
Brad and Taylor ask if Rennie has any advice for new agents to which he answers that perseverance is everything. Rennie explains that in order to succeed in real estate you must stay strong and keep going.
The conversation wraps up with Rennie sharing what sets City2Shore apart, how he’d start a business over with $1,000, and his favorite book: Upside.
