Here’s what you missed from Laura Plaza…

The conversation starts with Laura talking about how she got started as an agent. She mentions that she started off in accounting but got bored with the work. Anxious for more excitement, she switched to a business management degree which eventually led her to real estate.

She decided to pursue real estate because she loves HGTV and working with people. Currently, she’s working a day job part-time and real estate part-time. Eventually, she’d love to make real estate a full-time gig!

Laura goes on to explain her first transaction which actually ended up falling through. She says this didn’t discourage her and that she’s excited to continue on with other transactions. Brad and Taylor asked if she has any advice for new agents and she mentions the importance of consistency and following up with clients.

After telling a story about a memorable listing, Laura talks about her goals for the future which include getting known in her community and making transactions stress-free for clients. Laura explains that one day she’d like to be a household name in her community.

The conversation ends with Brad, Taylor, and Laura talking about marketing methods, starting over with $1,000, and Laura’s favorite business book: Leadership Wisdom from the Monk Who Sold his Ferrari.
