The conversation starts with Julie sharing a little bit of background on what she does as a realtor and a mentor and how she got into the business. She spends some time talking about her education and achievements that led her here today. 

Julie explains how she has always had the entrepreneur mindset even as a kid. She shares the different businesses she ventured into with her husband from running a family restaurant, getting into a mortgage business, and almost everything around real estate. They believe in the power of constant reinvention, particularly in this industry.

With her background in almost every side of real estate, her first year as a realtor went really well. She explains the value of putting yourself out there to network, starting with the people you already know. She now mentors over a hundred agents in the country and soon, in other parts of the world.

Brad and Taylor ask Julie if there’s anything she’d do differently if she were to start over today, to which she answered, she’d start with the spirit of influence and invite the people she knows over coffee. She explains the importance of getting in front of people to build stronger connections, and success will follow. 

The conversation wraps up with Julie sharing her goals for the future, the story of her worst property experience, and her favorite business book: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
