The conversation starts with Colleen giving a little bit of background on what she does and how she got into real estate. She explains how she transitioned from working as an event planner and how almost the same skills are applied to real estate.

Next, Colleen shared with Brad and Taylor how she wanted to be in a team. She started working full-time when she found the team that suits her best out of the 13 teams she met.

During the lockdown, she decided to start calling people out of worry. She did not expect that in doing so she’d be receiving a lot of business and opportunities. 

When it comes to marketing, Colleen believes that one-on-one meetings, get-togethers, and chatting over coffee are the best. She explains the value of making sincere connections and relationships with her clients. She added that when clients see that you genuinely care, they’re more likely to trust you and work with you.

The conversation wraps up with Colleen sharing what she’d do with $1,000 if she had to start all over again, her goals for the future, and her favorite business books: Principles and Mindset.
