What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?
At WindowStill, my role encompasses both photography and marketing coaching. As a photographer, my work revolves around collaborating with local agents and brokerages to produce compelling media for their property listings, enhancing the overall experience for both buyers and sellers. This involves a dynamic range of tasks, from proactively connecting with agents to being on the move, capturing captivating drone photos, creating detailed floor plans, and, of course, taking stunning photographs. I find the ever-changing nature of my daily responsibilities to be both invigorating and intellectually stimulating.
In my role as a marketing coach, I extend my support and guidance to fellow photographers across the company, spanning from California to Florida. I focus on equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver exceptional value to their clients, navigate the nuances of marketing as independent contractors, and effectively manage various scenarios that arise during client interactions. This multifaceted role often feels like a blend of being a therapist, life coach, and teacher, all combined into one. It helps to remember that I am here to help everyone I meet to be as successful as possible!
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends playing games, or working on my personal photography. I also love relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning before getting started on work!
What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?
To those just starting I would advise to not get discouraged. It takes time to build up a network of professional relationships. It is about being consistent and driven in your work. The more you post, interact and engage, the more likely you are to be remembered when someone needs photos!
What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?
Good listening skills are vital in my roles, both as a photographer and a marketing coach. It can be hard to help someone succeed; whether that is in selling a listing or getting their name out there, if you cannot hear them tell you what they need.
