HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED FROM DAVID SEEKELL…

The conversation starts with David giving a little bit of background on what he does and how he got into real estate. Initially, he worked as a social media manager for an agent. When he got to learn more about real estate, he applied for a license and is now a solo agent.

At the beginning of his career as an agent, he reached out to people he could learn from. He shared that his mentor has even become his friend now. 

David spends some time sharing what the test experience was like. He explains that while everything included in the test was necessary, it is still completely different than how it is in reality.

Next, he talked about his first transaction as a solo agent. He explains that it’s definitely one of the faster and smoother transactions he’s ever done. In contrast, his second transaction took him 40 homes before closing the deal.

Brad and Taylor ask David if he’d do anything differently if he had to start all over again. He emphasizes the fact that learning from a mentor was one of the best decisions he’s ever made. If anything, he’d want to spend more time marketing himself. 

The conversation wraps up with David sharing his goals for the future and his favorite business book: Sell It Like Serhant: How to Sell More, Earn More, and Become the Ultimate Sales Machine.
