Here’s what you missed from Brooke Azimi…
Brooke is a Michigan native and the oldest of three girls, is not only a daughter, wife, niece, and cousin but also a mentor and a devoted Christian. Her faith-based life holds significant value for her.
Initially a dental hygienist with plans for dental school, Brooke transitioned to real estate full-time in July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She obtained her real estate license in March 2019 and has since become a notable figure in the Michigan real estate scene. Brooke’s focus extends from the Royal Oak Metro Detroit Woodward Corridor to areas like Grand Rapids, New Baltimore, and Chesterfield. Her early business centered around the Woodward Corridor but has now expanded to cover all of Southeast Michigan.
In February 2024, the real estate market in Metro Detroit faces inventory challenges, with interest rates fluctuating. A seller’s market is evident in Metro Detroit and the Woodward Corridor, while Leier County and Northern Oakland County offer more favorable conditions for buyers.
Brooke, recognized as “Woman Who Moves Detroit,” actively supports women in real estate. She has assisted a friend’s transition from dental hygiene to real estate, providing mentorship that led to her friend becoming licensed and working alongside her. As a dual-sided agent, Brooke prioritizes clear and transparent communication with both buyers and sellers. She emphasizes the advantage of understanding the needs and motivations of both parties, navigating potential conflicts of interest through open discussions.
Brooke’s innovative approach involves hosting monthly events for first-time homebuyers. These events create a welcoming atmosphere, offering education and networking opportunities. The goal is to make the learning process interactive and enjoyable for attendees.
Becoming a landlady at 23, Brooke shares her experiences with clients considering entering the rental property market. She discusses the highs, lows, challenges, and potential successes, helping clients make informed decisions about becoming landlords.
Next, Brooke shares that she draws on a lifetime of real estate exposure, including her parents’ rental properties. She works with clients ready to sell their first homes, offering insights into property sale and rental value, as well as expenses and management options. Positive client experiences include renting out a home due to a job opportunity and later selling it with added appreciation.
Brooke’s favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, reflects her deep faith and belief in plans for prosperity and hope for the future. She emphasizes the importance of faith in navigating challenges in both real estate and personal life, praying over houses and transactions for guidance and strength.
