Kelly’s journey in the real estate industry began with a stint in property management before transitioning to real estate after acquiring her license. Her husband, with a background in real estate, renewed his license to join her in the field, leading to their collaboration as a team for several years. Eventually, her husband ventured into his own business focusing on home repairs and remodels.

Armed with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, Kelly found her education invaluable in understanding people and building relationships, essential skills in the real estate realm. She views real estate as a problem-solving career and places a strong emphasis on trust and communication in transactions, ensuring clarity and reducing client stress through proactive communication.

Recognizing the need for a more personalized approach in the real estate landscape, Kelly co-founded Oasis Realty with two colleagues, aiming to fill a gap in the market. Based in the greater Lansing area, Oasis Realty specializes in helping clients with pets, offering unique support during showings and considering pets’ needs in buying and selling processes.

Kelly’s community involvement extends beyond real estate, as she actively participates in various local initiatives. From serving on the city planning committee to being involved in animal welfare and the arts program in public schools, Kelly is deeply rooted in giving back to her community. Through hosting events and engaging with community members, she aims to build lasting relationships and be recognized as a trusted option in the area.

One of Kelly’s passions lies in historic homes, evident in her explorations of historic properties across the country. From visiting notable historic sites like the Seven Gables house in Salem, Massachusetts, to sharing haunted experiences at Turner Dodge Mansion, Kelly’s love for historic architecture shines through. She also shares her experiences in renovating a mid-century modern home, highlighting the delicate balance between modernization and preserving the home’s original character.

In her role as a mentor to new agents at Oasis Realty, Kelly values personality traits such as energy, a family-oriented mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility towards clients. She emphasizes integrity, genuine client care, and building long-term relationships as crucial elements for success and longevity in the real estate industry.
