Holly Bendall’s journey into real estate began with her move back to Michigan with her husband, focusing on flipping and buying rental properties. Originally, she obtained her real estate license to save money on their real estate transactions. Their previous experiences living in Atlanta, Georgia, and Raleigh, North Carolina, due to Holly’s sales job, exposed them to different real estate markets across the country.
Currently, Holly and her husband are actively involved in managing duplexes, running their first successful Airbnb in a rural Michigan town, and continuing to flip properties. Their goal is to expand their real estate portfolio enough to support a property manager in the future.
Holly’s approach to marketing and building relationships in real estate has evolved significantly. She initially leveraged social media and video content creation to establish herself in a small brokerage without a social media presence. Over time, approximately 90% of her business now comes through Facebook, highlighting the effectiveness of relationship-building through video content and community engagement.
With a structured content creation strategy, Holly creates daily content, emphasizing authenticity and relatability to her audience. She aims to connect with moms, real estate investors, and community members, acknowledging the role of social media in expanding business contacts and generating revenue.
Despite the challenges of balancing work and family life, especially after losing her corporate job during COVID, Holly remains focused on growing her real estate business while prioritizing personal time and self-care. She looks forward to achieving her sales goals for the year, pursuing health and fitness objectives, and making new investments, including purchasing a property with investment potential.
Outside of her real estate endeavors, Holly cherishes family time at Turtle Lake in Thompsonville, Michigan, creating lasting memories with her children and reliving her own childhood experiences in northern Michigan.
