The conversation starts with Nikki sharing her experience during the Level Up: A Woman Led Real Estate Collaborative event where she was a guest speaker. Her goals during her talk include helping the attendees evaluate where they are in their business and social media, and what social media platforms are performing better. She wanted the attendees to think on a different level.

Nikki then talked about why she believed it is important for women to be involved in real estate. For a long time, real estate was known as a career for just men and over recent years, so many women entered the industry and became high-producing agents. She also shared how her schedule allows her to balance and move things around her kids’ schedule.

Next, Kevin asked Nikki about the benefits people leave after attending her event. She explained that a lot of people liked her marketing and social media business. Hence, she started a class that teaches the basics. This then bridged into a branding class when she became a certified mentor through eXp, she was able to expand the reach of the people she teaches.

With her degree in interior design and marketing. she believes in the value of first impressions. She wants her brand image that is put out to the world represent the quality of service she offers. She also chose to brand herself and not with the brokerage to keep her branding consistent.

The conversation then shifted to the secrets she can share that made her among the top 10% of realtors in Ohio every year since she had her license in 2018. She shared what makes her different by relying on social media and her sphere of influence and nurturing them well. She works hard to establish and nurture relationships instead of paying leads like what other realtors do.

Next, Nikki talked about her responsibilities as the first vice president of the Women’s Council of Realtors Toledo in 2022. Due to inactivity during the lockdown, they first focused on rebuilding their network. As a vice president, she was responsible for taking all the meeting minutes and ensuring that they were in compliance with local and federal rules and regulations. She also attends state and national meetings.

The conversation wraps up with Nikki discussing some of the new development and construction projects in Toledo where they’ll be bringing 400 residential units and a mix of commercial spaces.
