Anthony’s real estate journey began with various odd jobs after high school, including stints at a Dr. Pepper distributor, the YMCA, and Target. Despite initially attending college, he realized it wasn’t his path and delved into business while working at Target. His interest in real estate was sparked by listening to real estate podcasts, leading him to purchase a real estate course after a challenging day at work. This decision ultimately propelled him to quit his job and pursue real estate full-time around two or three years ago.
Transitioning to full-time real estate wasn’t immediate, as Anthony initially juggled Amazon work with part-time real estate activities. This intense schedule involved working seven days a week for about 10 hours each day. However, he eventually took a 60-day leave of absence from Amazon to focus solely on real estate and made the decision not to return after the leave, fully committing to real estate at the beginning of the previous year.
While Anthony doesn’t have specific mentors in his real estate journey, he draws subconscious influence from his parents’ hard work, who had side jobs in people’s homes. He views life as a progression, enjoying setting goals and working hard to achieve them. His entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment of self-improvement have made the journey into real estate more fulfilling than expected, particularly relishing the freedom and flexibility it offers.
Motivated by the desire to retire his parents and take care of his family, Anthony is deeply committed to his goals and independence. He has also ventured into real estate investing, owning his first property that he completely rehabbed and plans to buy another property soon for renting, gaining a taste of real estate investing through this experience.
In his real estate consultations, Anthony focuses on qualifying sellers and outlining strategic plans for sellers and buyers alike. He prepares sellers by discussing pricing strategies and the impact of days on the market, emphasizing the negative effects of prolonged listings and offering strategies to refresh properties. He also highlights the importance of networking with other real estate agents and professionals, asking the right questions, and being thorough in every deal.
Anthony’s journey is marked by unexpected surprises, rapid learning, unique client stories, and the importance of networking and business referrals. He values supporting young entrepreneurs and is excited about potential family and business growth, including having his mother join him in real estate and the opportunities it brings for learning, challenges, and expansion.
