HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED FROM NICHOLAS KAWALA…

The conversation starts with Nicholas giving a little bit of background on what he does for Switch Realty. He tells Brad and Taylor how he got into teaching marketing full-time to high school students for sixteen years now.

After having his first kid, Nicholas decided to get into real estate. Next, he shared how he wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon when he was younger and the experience that changed his mind about it.

Brad and Taylor ask if Nicholas has any advice for new agents and he emphasized the importance of doing what you love. He explains that it plays a huge role in succeeding in your work.

Next, Nicholas tells a story of the worst property showing he’s been to, mentioning that the faucet was left open which ruined the wood floors and other features of the home. He then shared his goals for the future, particularly his plan to build a real estate team. He would like to do this while maintaining a career as a high school marketing teacher. 

The conversation wraps up with Nicholas sharing how he’d start over again today if he only had $1,000 and his favorite business book: Outliers.
