The conversation starts with Erin giving a little bit of background on what she does for The Laforet Team. When she was younger, she wanted to be a professional scuba diver and was not interested in real estate.

Next, she shared what it was like working with her mom as a realtor. She explains the benefits and challenges she faced as her mom did not go easy on her which she appreciates as it helped her grow in her career.

Starting her career in 2009, she shares the valuable lessons and advice she received from her mother such as the importance of learning through each and every process and not just taking orders from her clients. She made sure that she was prepared for every transaction so she could guide her clients through the struggles and special circumstances they may face.

The conversation wraps up with Erin sharing what she’d do with $1,000 if she had to start over again and her favorite business books: Raving Fans and The Little Golden Book (How to Win Friends and Influence People & How To Stop Worrying and Start Living)
