The conversation starts with Daniel talking about the parody video he produced to promote KNE Realty. He shared what inspired the video and its lyrics, which only took him 3 hours to write.
Initially, he worked in construction and sales. After working with an agent, he was able to discover the power of negotiating, networking, and brokering. As he grew up around people who work in real estate, he’d always been encouraged to do the same.
Next, Daniel shares the lessons he learned during his real estate journey. He emphasizes the importance of being teachable as the nature of the industry requires constant learning and adapting.
While he’s a natural salesman, selling was a secondary goal. He prioritizes educating his clients and building genuine relationships.
Next, he talked about how he started shadowing agents at the beginning where he learned more about prospecting. This led him to closing deals through door-to-door knocking, which not many agents do anymore.
Daniel then spends some time talking about his first transaction. He admits that he did know a lot then. Nevertheless, he stayed true to his clients about his history, experiences, and what he can bring to the table.
Brad and Taylor ask Daniel if there’s anything he’d do differently if he had to start all over again, to which he answered, he’d be wiser with his time and time block. He explains that through time blocking, he’d be able to maximize his learning.
The conversation wraps up with Daniel sharing his worst property showing experience and his goals for the future.
