The conversation starts off with Karen talking about why she got into real estate and what her goal with the profession was, stating that she takes care of people first and sells real estate second.

 

She talks about the personal situation that caused her to gain her license as well as being recruited to a team. She mentions that she has to be flexible with her family and work and that real estate appealed to her because she is able to make her own schedule.

 

Next, Karen discusses the best advice she’s received as well as some of the most interesting showings she’s heard about or been part of. Brad and Taylor ask about her “side hustle” and she explains her rental properties and her plans for those in the future.

 

Lastly, Karen talks a little bit about her personal life and interests as well as starting all over with $1,000 and the best business books that she’s read.
