In the meantime, here’s a summary of the conversation…

The conversation starts off with Maggie giving a little bit of background on her work as an associate broker as well as her past experience. She mentions that when she was younger, she bounced around a lot between careers. When she was working as a server and bartender, she met a licensed agent.

From there, she decided to get her license and the rest is history!

Maggie talks a little bit about what she likes about her job and what drew her to get her license, mentioning she loves paperwork and working with people. She details the experience she had working for different brokerages before finding the right fit for herself. Brad and Taylor ask if Maggie has any advice for newbies and she shares the importance of having more than one client at a time, as too strong of a hunger for a commission creates a bad agent, in her opinion.

She shares some stories about the worst property she’s seen before talking about what she would do with $1,000 to start all over with a business. The conversation wraps up with Maggie’s book recommendations: Start with Why and Dare to Lead.
