“People Over Paychecks” on The Closing Table with Real Estate Leader – Tina Peterson

Here’s what you missed from Tina Peterson…

The conversation starts with Tina discussing how her team began in 2016 and the areas they serve in Metro Detroit. She then talked about the types of mortgages that most buyers apply for, and to which she answered conventional mortgages. Tina explained that during the busy market, other types of mortgages (FHA/VA) were simply more difficult to apply for.

Next, Tina shared her process of selling and shared the longest and shortest time it has taken her to sell a property. The longest lasted two years during a bad market period and was an over-improved property in the area. On the other hand, she closed the quickest one in less than a day and sold the property before it was even listed.

Kevin then wanted to know about Tina’s Facebook post, “Providing the best possible service with experience, honesty, and integrity,” and what integrity meant to her. Clients, she believes, are more than just paychecks as a realtor. Caring for your clients, the community you serve, and being truthful with the knowledge you share all contribute to having integrity.

Next, Tina talks about why they have annual free pictures with Santa community events that do not directly benefit her real estate career. She explained that it is their purpose to serve the community and give back. She also talked about her other community projects, such as rescuing shelter dogs and training them.

The conversation wraps up with Tina by discussing her participation in the two magazines, Real Producer Livingston County in October and Real Producers Oakland County in April. She explained the process of being a part of a referral magazine as well as the criteria for inclusion.
