Real Estate Photographer Spotlight: Jacob Holme
This week under the WindowStill Spotlight, we have Jacob Holme!
Jacob is one of our awesome photographers from Lake City, Florida covering the surrounding areas such as Gainesville, Live Oak, White Springs, and Macclenny. He shared what his daily routine looks like and a piece of advice he’d give to new photographers.
Keep reading to see what he has to say…
What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?
I work as a photographer for WindowStill. Either I’m shooting or I’m marketing, which includes making contact with agents and making small talk with them. That sums up a regular day for me.
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, one of my favorite hobbies is taking pictures of wildlife. It was the spark that ignited my interest in photography, and it continues to be the primary subject of my work.
What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?
My piece of advice is to keep moving forward. It begins in a gradual manner. It has the potential to become a river if given enough time and effort to do so.
What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?
In our field, the most important quality is socialization! We work with people; we must know how to communicate with them and be open!
