Real Estate Photographer Spotlight: Jordan Eberhardt

This week under the WindowStill Spotlight, we have Jordan Eberhardt!

Jordan is one of our awesome real estate photographers from Colorado, offering his services in Denver and Boulder. He told us about the advice he’d give to a new photographer and how he likes to spend his free time.

Here’s what this Colorado photographer had to say…

What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?

I’m a photographer, videographer, and drone operator.

My mornings usually consist of returning emails, cold messaging potential clients on Facebook, and general networking and rapport building. I’m then out on the road and shooting homes from the late morning through early evening, uploading photos afterward.

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?

A free night for me usually includes music, basketball, hiking, creating, exploring, Xbox, and the occasional night out on the town.

What advice would you give to an aspiring photographer/videographer and why?

Probably more important than the product itself is the ability to create your own value. There are large amounts of people who are not the best at what they do but understand the importance of marketing and networking to be paid like they are.

What do you feel is the most important quality for a photographer/ videographer and why?

Adaptability. Understanding that no two environments you’re shooting in are the same, and learning to adapt to each environment every day while still applying the general guidelines for shooting is crucial.
