Real Estate Photographer Spotlight: Paydreanne Hinton

This week under the WindowStill Spotlight, we have Paydreanne Hinton!

Paydreanne is one of our awesome photographers from Charlotte, NC, covering all areas within the I-485 beltway that encompasses Charlotte such as Huntersville, Indian Trail, and Concord.

Here’s what she had to say…

What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?

At WindowStill, I work as a real estate photographer.

My day begins with preparing by refreshing my rabbit’s hay, tidying up, and ensuring my camera is charged, my lens packed, and my memory card ready. I leave early to make sure I arrive at the client’s house 10 minutes ahead of schedule, especially if the weather is challenging or I’m traveling via the interstate.

Once there, I set up my tripod and start by shooting exterior photos, followed by interior shots. After completing the session, I secure the house, notify the client, and head home. At home, I review the photos using Photoscape X, flagging each one as accepted or rejected. Once I’ve made my selections, I submit the final images to the WindowStill portal.

I then inform the client of the submission and delivery times, answer any questions they may have, and mention the $50 referral bonus.

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?

In my free time, I enjoy working on graphic designs and creating promotional materials for motor vehicle brands like BMW and Jeep.

It’s a creative outlet that allows me to combine my passion for design with my interest in cars. I love experimenting with different styles and concepts to bring out the unique identity of each brand while producing eye-catching visuals that resonate with their audience. It’s both a fun and fulfilling way for me to stay creative outside of my photography work.

What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?

My advice to someone new in the field would be to carefully review your photos after each shoot to identify both your strengths and areas for improvement. Pay attention to details like focus, angles, camera elevation, and depth of field. By regularly evaluating your work—or having someone else critique it—you can quickly spot any recurring issues and address them before they become habits. This practice will help you refine your skills and improve the quality of your photos over time.

What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?

The most important quality in my field is making clients feel like valued partners. To provide the best customer service, I focus on involving them in the process by encouraging their honest feedback and suggestions during the shoot.

This ensures they are fully satisfied with the results. By treating clients as partners rather than just customers, they feel more heard and engaged in the photography process. It also reassures me that I’m meeting their needs and delivering a service that goes beyond just completing a job.
