Real Estate Photographer Spotlight: Rebecca Reale

This week under the WindowStill Spotlight, we have Rebecca Reale!

Rebecca is one of our awesome photographers from Green Bay, Wisconsin, serving the Fox Cities/Appleton and surrounding areas.

Here’s what she had to say…

What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?

I work for Windowstill as a real estate photographer. My typical work day usually starts with waking up, preparing breakfast for my three children, and helping them in getting ready for school. I then have a brief moment of peace and quiet with some ‘hopefully still hot’ coffee.

I then start my work day at my computer, returning emails, networking, reaching out to potential clients, and so on. Then I go about my day, shooting photos for my clients and making the magic happen!

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?

I am the queen of field trips and fun experiential activities! I love to explore and embark on new adventures whenever possible. I keep my head swiveling in search of any community events that might enrich our lives. I enjoy both hosting and attending parties. I have a tendency to go overboard with my hospitality!

When I have the chance, I enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Coffee shops are my jam, and I’m always up for a last-minute get-together with friends. On the flip side, I also love cozy days at home with my family (3 kids and a husband) cuddled on the couch watching movies.

What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?

Allow yourself plenty of grace as you learn your new trade. Accept making mistakes as long as you learn and grow from them. Be open to new experiences and challenges. Also, excellent customer service from your realtors will go a long way!

What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?

To work in real estate photography, I believe you must be a people person. You constantly meet new people and collaborate with others. At times, balancing the technical and social aspects of the job can be a delicate process. I believe that providing your realtors with a positive customer service experience is everything.
