Real Estate Photographer Spotlight: Vasilios Bessas

This week under the WindowStill Spotlight, we have Vasilios Bessas!

Vasilios is one of our awesome photographers in Maine, covering the Portland area to Biddeford, Scarborough, and Kennebunk. He shared what his days typically look like and an advice he’d give to someone in his field.

What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?

I am a real estate photographer, and I not only take photos for clients, but I also network with new real estate agents to inform them about the great work we do at Windowstill.

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy making personal projects about photography and my daily life on my YouTube channel, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with my family and my adorable cat.

What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?

There is a Greek saying that I always keep in mind: Every beginning is hard, but as long as you put in the work, the results will come. So, no matter how difficult it appears at first, it will become easier and better. You’ve got to love the process.

What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?

Patience. There will be times when work slows down or you have to deal with clients you are unfamiliar with. Being patient is extremely important because it will help you in getting through difficult situations and learning how to deal with them. Also, don’t be afraid to seek help and support. Windowstill has the staff who are always willing to assist you.
