What is your role at WindowStill and what does a day of work typically look like for you?
I am one of the operations specialists for WindowStill Photography.
Every day is different for me, but I dedicate most of my attention to ensuring our photographers and agents are set up for success. Often times this means scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls, emails and texts.
I carve out a portion of every day for new agents who book with us to make sure I’m there and accessible if they have questions or need any guidance on how to access their products. I also help with client scheduling and the onboarding process after hiring for our sister company Lime Green Clean. I love helping people grow into the best they can be and providing support.
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
Outside of work, I spend the majority of my time with my fiance Kyle and our dog Archie. Just doing daily activities with them is all I need.
When I want to be more productive, I work as a freelance makeup artist. For the past seven years, I’ve been doing makeup. Making everyone’s beauty on the inside shine on the outside is a great passion of mine.
What advice would you give to someone that’s new to your field and why?
I’d say it’s fast, and fast is good. Thinking on your feet keeps your mind in good shape.
I would also mention that you will meet a lot of people and learn a lot about things you would never think about otherwise. I had no idea how much goes into buying and selling real estate until I started here. There are many moving pieces to consider.
Take your time, this is the best advice I can give. Things will move swiftly and from all directions, but they will still slow down. You’ll discover a natural rhythm and become accustomed to it before you know it.
What do you feel is the most important quality for someone in your field and why?
Being a good listener. Everyone wants to be heard and everyone deserves to be. Pay attention to what clients need and do your best to follow it. They will always remember you and your services if you go out of your way to repeat back things to them in later conversations they have told you. It will mean a lot and they will feel like and know they are not just another client to you. This makes everyone feel special because they are.
